Russiaville was nearly eradicated by the Palm Sunday tornado in 1965 but it has since been rebuilt. The population is approximately 1K. I was 10 years old and living in Goshen, NY when Russiaville nearly bit the dust but there are still plenty of folks here that remember it well.

This is kind of odd, but I didn't know Russiaville still existed. A family friend was the stationmaster for the Nickel Plate Railroad there in the 1940s-50s, but I had heard your town was wiped out by a tornado in the 1970s; glad you're still there! Candomarty
