like the smell of a dishwashing cloth that's been wet, then dry, then wet, then dry etc and STINKS to high heaven....
Most Hated Cilantro-Containing Food:
Every food that has cilantro in it is inedible to me. Its so awful when I think I'm getting something really good and THAT TASTE comes up!!!!!
Do people in your family hate cilantro, too? Who?
No, unfortunately, they don't know what I'm talking about!
If cilantro were a historical malevolent dictator, who would it be? Why?
Nero...just because.
My cilantro story, first experience, recent anecdote, rant, etc...
The first time I tasted cilantro I was in a posh restaurant in Seattle and had ordered an 'herb salad'. Well. When it came I dug in, it looked wonderful. Suddenly I bit down on the most vile tasting thing...oh my goodness, I thought. Someone has accidentally spilled dirty dish water, or perhaps rung out a stinky dish cloth a little too near my salad. Ewwww.
Recently a mexican friend had me over for lunch and made lovely soft tacos. I was a little worried when I stepped into the kitchen and smelled that smell. "Angelica, do you know I can't eat Cilantro?" So she made a new batch just for me, sans cilantro, bless her. But even the smell made me feel sick.
