If cilantro were a historical malevolent dictator, who would it be? Why?
My cilantro story, first experience, recent anecdote, rant, etc...
I found out the hard way that I am allergic to cilantro. Now, it seems every where I go out to eat, everyone uses it in their dishes! They look at me like I'm crazy when I ask them not to use it. This was a big problem when I recently went to Thailand. Cilantro is used in over 75% of the meals there. I stuck mostly with rice and noodles and fried meats. There was almost an emergency when I ingested a bit of cilantro in a soup. Apparently, outside of the US and Spanish speaking countries, cilantro is called corriander. Now I know.
