Pasta--that's SUPPOSED to be parsely! Very sneaky...
Do people in your family hate cilantro, too? Who?
No one--they all think I'm crazy.
If cilantro were a historical malevolent dictator, who would it be? Why?
Hitler, no doubt. It's evil to the core!
My cilantro story, first experience, recent anecdote, rant, etc...
Avoiding cilantro is very hard when you live in San Diego--a stone's throw from Mexico. I ordered a pasta from one of my favorite restaurants. I figured it's not Mexican or Thai, so I should be safe from cilantro, right? Hey, what's that tiny, chopped up green stuff? It has to be parsely because it's Italian, right? WRONG!!! Who the @$&% puts cilantro in pasta??!? And it wasn't even listed as an ingredient on the menu or you KNOW I would have asked them to leave it the F off. Why do they do that? GRRR!!!
More about me:
I am so happy to know that I am not the only person that hates cilantro. I cannot understand how ANYONE can stomach that nasty weed. If it gets in my mouth, it is all I can taste and it totally ruins my whole dining experience when I have to closely inspect my meal for more wayward nastiness.
