It was backpacking through Asia that introduced me to the disgusting taste of coriander, it was in almost everything I ordered, especially in India and noone could work out what taste it was I didn't like until one day I isolated it to a tiny part of a leaf. To me it tastes like the smell of someone with really bad BO's armpits!! I can taste it however little is used and it will ruin my meal as I cannot eat it. It seems no restaurant meal is safe and I have resorted to telling waiters that I am allergic to it just to make sure it doesn't turn up anywhere in my meal!! I can never understand when someone says they love the taste and it is fresh tasting, how the hell is that repungent leaf fresh? I feel queasy just writing this post!!
