Just watched diners drive ins and dives.. Was on here yesterday after google searching if anyone hates cilantro as much as I do, and of course this site popped up first. After hearing everyones experiences I felt a little less weird about my problems with cilantro.. Then I watched this episode!!
Guy is at some mexican type place, and they made a meat ball type soupe. Cilantro in the meat.. Cilantro in the broth... And when it was all done, he threw a handfull of cilantro on top!!! Wtf!!! I understand we have a "sensitivity" to this nasty weed.. But what makes these people go sooo far over the top on it? How can this cilantro thing be so cut and dry on opinion? It makes me puke, but all these chefs these days are using it like its cooking crack?
