I was 9 years old. It all started at a Chinese New Year celebration when mum handed me an oyster omelette. Having a mature palette for my taste, I was looking forward to it, not knowing that a nasty surprise lurked inside.
I took a big bite of the omelette and spat it out. I looked at the gunky mess of the half chewed omelette. In it, I saw little green bits.
Coriander, how dare you ruin a perfectly good omelette!
