I was a little kid when I first ate cilantro. My mom gave me some Indian food that contained a funky looking green plant. When I questioned about what it was, she said it was cilantro, and it was really good. Funny thing is, my whole family loves cilantro. Except me. When I started chewing it, the taste of compost filled my mouth, and I went to go wash my mouth out for a long time after. Since then, every time I get a dish with cilantro, I painstakingly scrape it to the side.
