I first encountered cilantro or qing cai while I lived in Taiwan. I had a favorite Mongolian restaurant, but occasionally the cook put qing cai on the food and I could hardly eat it. HOWEVER after living six years in Taiwan and China, I grew accustomed to the taste and have grown to love it.
Most of you would probably never would drink beer after your first try if you did not get used to it. But most Americans are not very adventuresome. Pity.
