20 some odd years ago, a freind and I ordered quesadillas, at Applebee's.
After our first bites, we both spit them into our napkins, believing that dish detergent fell into the recipe before it reached our table!
Left and never returned.
A few years later, while admiring a friends herb garden, I smelled that horrible scent and asked which herb was giving it off.
My friend smiled and proudly said, "My cilantro! Dont you just love it?"
Finally had a name for it!
I can tolerate minuscule amounts in some dishes, but wouldn't miss it if I never ate it again!
