I love Thai food. I love Mexican food. I love Vietnamese food. But I don't like cilantro. You can see the problem.
I have been trying very hard to not hate cilantro. To try to like it would be an unreachable goal. I just want to be able to tolerate it. Sometimes I think I'm getting close. I'll eat a leaf or two. But just now I ate a salad made from Organic Baby Greens and I was digging it and then: There it was! That taste! I'm not sure I can say what it tastes like. "Licking dirty change"…that comes close. Soap? No. The problem is that the taste does not go away. My wife and my five siblings all like it just fine. I am cursed. Greetings, my cilantro-phobic friends! We live!
