I was a small boy. I was eating some Indian food and there was this weird taste, I didn't know what it was at the time. Fast forwards a couple years, my family was making some soup out of these leaves, I thought it'd be ok - they're good cooks, but I took a bite and it tasted familiar, but bad. Indescribably bad, I don't know how to describe it. I asked what was in it, "cilantro" my mom replied. On that fateful day, I learned what cilantro was and I knew I hated it. I will avoid anything with cilantro as an ingredient, guacamole and everything else. If it just has cilantro as a garnish I will attempt to scrape it off, but I can still taste the remains of the cilantro. I am the only one in my family.
